THE PROJECT
SGA corporate & packaging design For some time now the Alois Lageder winery has distinguished itself by its philosophy and innovative production methods and its attention to natural and respectful environment principles. These criteria have led an evolution in the way traditional Alto Adige wine are made, and are responsible for the distinctive character of the Alois Lageder Classic line wines. The wine labels, however, needed to better illustrate these practices and to make the winery's image more clearly representative of its values and approach to winemaking. |
The task of creating a visual identity that reflected the nature of the winery was entrusted to SGA corporate & packaging design, a graphic design firm that for years has been actively engaged in creating corporate identities and packaging that references cultural characteristics and is capable of providing a strong, individual representation of a company’s profile and its products.
For SGA, the key to effective packaging is its ‘degree of reliability’, the ability to convey a product’s identity in a way that not only represents its physical characteristics but also its many immaterial associations.
